Open Neighborhood Project - ReVisioning Kelley's Corner
Discover STEM at A/B Regional High School
Acton

Here's our chance to model the future! What do you think Kelley's Corner in Acton should look like? What kinds of buildings should there be? What trees and green space do you wish to see? Take part in a unique, hands-on community design event using computer simulation tools as well as real-world model-building ones. The Open Neighborhood Project, part of a Tufts University academic exploration, will use computers to look at ways Kelley's Corner could change in the future. There will also be a hands-on model building exercise on November 2nd and November 14th on a large-scale floor size map.

For Acton residents, Open Neighborhood is a truly unique chance for residents to get together and share their ideas for how this area might look and feel in the future. It provides an open forum, where residents, land and business owners alike may arrive at new insights. Open Neighborhood is also an opportunity for Acton residents to participate in an academic study, one that may have implications for this town's future and may contribute to overall planning practices in other towns.
