Friends of the West Acton Boardwalk, along with Douglas and Gates Elementary Schools, present Board-A-Palooza!, a music festival and craft fair on Saturday, June 12th, 10am through 8pm (rain or shine!).
There will be many talented musical acts on two stages and over 20 local artisans offering unique handmade arts, crafts and jewelry.
Board-A-Palooza is music festival & craft fair raising money to rebuild the aging boardwalk between Douglas & Gates schools. There will be many talented performers on two stages, 30+ local artisans offering unique handmade crafts, family friendly activities including hands-on crafts, a bouncy house, cookie decorating, carnival games and face painting!
Not all activities run all day, so check the schedule to make sure you won't miss something you'd love!
* Bouncy house: all day
* Music on two stages: all day
* Food: all day (grilling starts at 11:30am, muffins and coffee in the a.m.)
* Bake sale and popcorn: all day
* Learn to play the bones! (percussion instruments):workshops at 11 & 1
* Cotton Candy: 3-6pm
* Cookie decorating ($2 per cookie): 4-6pm
* Craft vendors 10am-6pm
* Carnival games: 10am-4pm
* Help decorate a mosaic sign to be displayed by the boardwalk: 2pm
Family-friendly movie outdoors on a giant inflatable screen: 8pm (weather permitting...otherwise we'll move indoors).
This event will raise money to rebuild the boardwalk that runs between Douglas and Gates.
Event will be held at Douglas Elementary School; parking will be at Gates Elementary School, 75 Spruce Street, Acton.
