Acton Drop/Swap Event

Green Acton to hold first Drop/Swap event on May 1 at Conant School from 9am to 2pm

This year Green Acton, will be holding the first Acton drop/swap day on May 1st from 9-2pm. This event will be held in conjunction with the annual Acton clean up day and hazardous waste day. Everyone will have the opportunity to clean out their attics, basements and closets, to help clean up the town and to dispose of your unwanted goods in a safe and responsible way all in one go. You can bring your unwanted items to the Conant school as long as they are in usable condition (the drop) where other residents can come and take them (the swap), thus reusing items and reducing the town's trash output.
Also, for your convenience Got Books, Bikes not Bombs, Big Brother Big Sister, and HGRM will be on site to take away your additional or unclaimed items. When you are done at Conant you can drive around the block and drop your hazardous waste at the transfer station!
