Discovery Day at Drumlin Farm
Thursday, August 04, 2011

Mass Audubon’s Drumlin Farm will offer a free fun-filled Nature Play Discovery Day on August 6, with activities for all ages. Drop by from 10 am to 3 pm, rain or shine, and bring your family and friends for nature play the old fashioned way. There will be free hayrides, live wildlife demonstrations, and a hay play area. Bring your picnic lunch! We’ll have ice cream, slushies, and drinks available for sale. Print out your free ticket online and bring it with you to save time www.massaudubon.org/discoverydays
Discovery Days, which debuted last year, proved immediately popular with the public, and that energy has inspired the 2011 edition, said Mass Audubon Regional Director Kathy Sferra, who oversees the public engagement celebrations. “So we expect the second-annual Discovery Day series will present even greater opportunities to have fun, explore new places, and see what Mass Audubon has to offer at wildlife sanctuaries and nature centers across the state,” Sferra said.
Admission and special events are free for everyone!
