Castle In The Trees is hosting its annual FALL Clean up Day

On Saturday the 16th, we will be spending the afternoon at the Castle preparing it for the winter.

From 12:00 to 5:00 p.m., volunteers are needed to help clean out the structure and spray it with linseed oil. Please wear old clothes and gloves. Also, it would be great if volunteers could bring along brooms, hand brooms, rakes, and shovels.

As we will be spraying the linseed oil (used to protect the wood), please leave your lovely children (under 12 y.o.) at home.

Any student -- 12 years old or older -- who wishes to earn community volunteer hours may do so if he or she actually works. The clean-up is not a social event, though some have regarded it as such at past clean-ups.

You do not have to attend the entire clean-up. If you can only make a portion of it, that's great too. If you can only give an hour, your help is needed more at the beginning of the clean-up.
