Parent Bullying Forum

This past spring the Massachusetts Legislature passed MGL c 71, sec. 370, An Act Relative to Bullying in Schools. This legislation, signed by Governor Patrick this past May, bans bullying on all school grounds, buses and activities, and mandates that every instance of bullying reported to school staff be investigated by school officials and reported to the parents of the students involved. Another important part of the law requires that all school districts develop a Bullying Prevention and Intervention Plan on or before December 31, 2010. The principals of the Littleton Public Schools would like to invite all parents and community members to attend a public forum on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 7 PM at the Littleton Middle School. The purpose of this meeting is to allow parents and members of the community to give feedback on The Littleton Public Schools proposed Bullying and Intervention plan.
