Abbott Labs is voluntarily recalling millions of containers of its Similac-brand powdered infant formula that may be contaminated with insect parts. The product was sold in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam and some Caribbean countries.
The recall involves:
- Certain Similac powder products available in plastic containers
- Certain Similac powder products available in cans (including 8oz, 12.4oz and 12.9oz)
