Apple Crisp

It's Apple Picking season so you may be looking for great new recipes to enjoy your pick!
Ingredients:
4 cups peeled, sliced apples
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Spread apples evenly in greased 13”X9”X2” baking dish.
Pour water over apples.
Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon nutmeg, and salt.
Stir lightly to mix.
Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle evenly over apples.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
