Flip the Switch
Go dark for an hour this Saturday night.

On, March 28, 2009, at 8:30 pm, 1,858 cities, towns and municipalities in 81 countries have committed to VOTE EARTH for Earth Hour 2009. They'll be turning off their lights for one hour – Earth Hour – to make a global statement of concern about climate change and to demonstrate commitment to finding solutions.

Last year, more than 50 million participated and the lights went out at the Empire State Building, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Sydney Opera House and the Coliseum in Rome, just to name a few. Even Google's homepage went black for the day!

To sign up, visit EarthHourUS.org.  Download the document below for ideas on what to do with your family during Earth Hour.

Also, as we lead up to Earth Day, tickets are on sale now for Disney's Earth.  Narrated by James Earl Jones, "EARTH" tells the story of three animal families and their journeys across our planet. "EARTH" captures their most intimate moments bringing their adventures to the big screen. Disney will donate a tree for everyone person who sees EARTH during opening week. For Tickets, click here
