A glorious evening of music, mirth, poetry and just plain fun, all performed by an extended family of artists.
You start with a heralded Shakespearian actor with a delightful sense for music and words. You add to that a wife with a career of her own, writing and recording children’s songs with an enchantingly melodious voice. You sprinkle in two powerfully musical sons and Dave Shuford, who have had their own rock band in New York, and play a series of instruments including the most wonderful classic guitar, and you have Beautiful Dreamer.
This joyous and eclectic evening will satisfy and enrich. Poems, songs, stories, and anecdotes have been woven into a tapestry that rejoices the human spirit. Stephen Foster, Yeats, and Shakespeare alongside the Beatles, Neil Young, and the Rolling Stones. Listening is like going through an old attic trunk, never knowing what you might find next.

A member of The Royal Shakespeare Company and Emmy winner, Charles Keating, has spent his lifetime working in theatre, television, film, and on radio. His television credits include Sex and the City, Brideshead Revisited, Edward and Mrs. Simpson, Miami Vice, Tales of the Unexpected, Another World, and All My Children. His film appearances include The Bodyguard, The Thomas Crown Affair, Deuce Bigelow, Rocking Horse Winner, and Master of the Manor.
