There's an abundance of musical events this summer in our towns and Suzy's got the list all in one place.
Darien Summer Nights Series 2013:
Head to Grove Street Plaza in downtown Darien for summer evenings of music. The concerts are Friday nights 6 to 9PM and all are free of charge. The concerts are being funded by Baywater Properties and Grove Street Plaza, through the support of our retail tenants and the Darien Chamber of Commerce. For concert schedule click here.
Waveny Summer Concerts:
The New Canaan Recreation Department in co-sponsorship with local New Canaan merchants will sponsor open air music concerts on the patio at Waveny House this summer. The concerts will feature a variety of musical groups many of whom are from the Fairfield County area. All of the concerts are open to New Canaan residents free of charge and held from 7:30 until 9:30 PM. on Wednesday evenings. Concert goers are welcome to bring a cold picnic supper to the park and enjoy the music. For concert schedule, click here.
2013 RCA Summer Music Festival:
This season will feature some local acts, some return favorites, and some soon to be superstars. A wide variety of genres will be represented that includes country, rock, reggae, R&B, and folk. For Festival updates (including opening acts) and to learn more about the performers click here.
