Bugfest and the Tarantula Exhibit in Stamford
Friday, June 22, 2012

Celebrate the opening of Stamford Museum & Nature Center's newest exhibit, Tarantulas: Alive & Up Close, with a day full of your favorite insects and invertebrates! The exhibit is open to all June 23, from 10 AM -3 PM.
You can explore the forest, pond and field with nets and bug boxes for the boneless beasts that live there, investigate the world of invertebrates on a creepy crawly scavenger hunt and get the first chance to visit with the 20 species of live spiders in the new exhibit. And for those with as strong stomach, you will even have a chance to eat like a tarantula during the Edible Insects class, where you'll be served real insect treats.
Members: FREE
Non-Members: FREE with gate admission.
