Suzy Update: Did you know that when you buy your tickets online in advance you save $10? Did you also know that when you buy those online tickets there is an opportunity to make a donation for a grocery bag of food to Person-to-Person's Food Pantry. More then 100 bags of groceries have already been pledged.
Start your engines! Excavators, tractors, diggers, fire engines and other larger-than-life trucks and cars are rolling into town on Sunday, September 30 for Opus’ 10th annual Big Rig Gig, a hands-on truck experience and fundraising event for the whole family. Children of all ages will get up close and personal with more than 20 trucks, ranging from traditional construction and rescue vehicles to a one-of-a-kind monster truck. This year’s event features a brand new carousel, the Roaming Railroad, musical entertainment by the Bossy Frog Band, bouncy castles, food and so much more.
Admission is $30 in advance and $40 at the door per family. The first 150 families who purchase tickets prior to the event will receive limited edition Big Rig Gig reusable tote bags. Food will be available for purchase and there will be live raffles and a silent auction.

In the event of rain, the festivities will be held inside the Darien Town Hall gym. All proceeds benefit Opus for Person-to-Person.
