New Canaan Elementary school teacher conference week is this week and school's out early!
Sign your kids up for afternoon Nature Adventures with NCNC naturalists! Daily interactive activities could include trail exploration, meeting and learning about our animals, nature art projects & hands-on journeys through our greenhouse and gardens.
December 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th
2:00 - 3:30 PM
Monday: Animals of Winter
Discover what critters come out to play during winter and where others go to weather the cold
Tuesday: Habitat Exploration
Journey across our 40 acre preserve to see what's happening at the pond, rustling about the forest, and frolicking in the fields.
Wednesday: Animal Homes
Every animal needs a home. Check out the wide variety of homes at NCNC and even try your hand at making a natural home of your own
Thursday: Nature Field Day
An afternoon of nature-based fun & games at NCNC!
This is a drop off program, but parents are welcome to stay.
Registration Deadline: One day prior to program
Ages: Kindergarten - 4th grade.
Members: $20/day / Non-Members: $25/day
