Suzy's friends are so over me talking about my favorite new TV show but in case you haven't seen it -- tune into Mad Men on AMC on Sunday nights at 10 PM.
Actually, don't. First, you have to catch up on Season One in order to better understand and appreciate the wonderfully flawed characters and the carefully considered production design. So download on iTunes or indulge yourself and purchase the DVD set from the first season. (The second season began in late July so it's almost over...)
If you ever wondered what it's like to be a woman in the early 1960's, Mad Men will provide you an artful glimpse.
Created by one on of the writers on "The Sopranos", Mad Men follows the lives of a a handful of folks running a small advertising agency in Manahattan. The attention to detail is stunning in the set design. The writing is superb. And Don Draper (Jon Hamm) is a skunk but a hunk.
