Suzy has a problem on her hands. Lately she has been devouring book after book. But, now she is in a rut, a middle place of sorts. Having just finished the very funny and very heartwarming book, The Middle Place, there is only one thing she wants...more Kelly Corrigan! Another book, another author, another memoir just won't do!
There is no doubt Kelly Corrigan has an amazing gift with words. She has an uncanny ability to tell her story (which often feels like your story) and connect with readers. She is honest, funny and real. That's all you need to know. The rest you can hear in Kelly's own words...
If you haven't watched it already, it's worth the 5 minutes!
But, Suzy does have both a suggestion and a warning for reading the book.
Suggestion
Don't go solo, read this with your book club. It will be one of the easiest reads in years. If you are not in a book club, create one. And don't accept any excuses from your galpals. Everyone has time to read this book!
Warning
Until you finish The Middle Place, you may be likely to ignore your kids, your laundry, your hubby, your laptop. The house won't get cleaned, e-mails won't get answered and your latest project may be put on hold. The one thing you may find time to do is call home (as in your parent's home).
