RCA Community Tree Lighting and Egg Nog Contest

Light up the town and drink some eggnog on Sunday, December 4th, as Rowayton officially gets dolled up for the holidays. You don't want to miss this magical event.
Downtown Rowayton will come alive with twinkling lights at the tenth annual holiday town lighting. Festivities begin at Pinkney Park with the lighting of the Christmas tree and caroling led by Brien McMahon's award winning Holiday Chamber Choir. Stroll down Rowayton Avenue to view the window decorations created by local merchants. Then it's on to the annual Egg Nog Contest in front of the Rowayton Market. enjoy a warm beverage and snack compliments of the Rowayton Market.
Keep your eyes to the sky; there may even be a Santa sighting! Rowayton Avenue will be blocked between Wilson Avenue and the Fire House, so arrive early if you are driving.
7th Annual Egg Nog Contest
Join the holiday fun - enter your favorite egg nog recipe (with or without alcohol)! Tables, chairs, cups and cookies provided - just bring 3 gallons of your favorite egg nog recipe. All tasters must be 21 or older.
