Get ready to Run like a Mother this Mother's Day in Ridgefield. Run Like a Mother (RLAM) is a 5K women’s-only race that was founded in 2008 by Ridgefield, Conn., resident Megan Searfoss to give women throughout the community an opportunity to experience the thrill of running a race whether they are a novice or an expert. Sunday, May 13, 2012 Mother’s Day of course!

5K: 8:30 a.m.
Kid’s 1-mile race: 8:00 a.m.
Location:
90 Prospect Street
Ridgefield, CT
The race begins at Yanity Gym and ends at Ballard Park on Main Street. There is approximately ¼ mile between the start and finish.

$15 1 Mile Fun Run
Registration ends May 10.
Parking:
There are many municipal lots around town. Parking is available at Yanity gym and also near Ballard Park (the finish line).
Participant Divisions:
5K: 12-14, 15-19 and 5 year age groups through 70+
Kid’s 1-mile: 6 and under, 7-9, 10-11 (boys and girls)
