Meet the Authors of "Hello Cupcake"

Nobody's "sweet tooth" is worse than Suzy's so you know she'll be there! Join her to find out how to get creative in the kitchen with some zip lock bags and household snack items. The moms will be impressed at your next birthday party!
On Tuesday, February 24th, Authors, Karen Tack and Alan Richardson will discuss their book, "Hello Cupcake: Irresistibly Playful Creations Anyone Can Make" at the DCA.
Coffee at 10:00, followed by the program at 10:30.
The event is free to book group members and there is a fee for guests of $5.00.
The authors will show how to make some of the creatively frosted cupcakes described in "Hello Cupcake." The book has funny, scary, and sophisticated cupcake designs that even the most kitchen-challenged adults and inexperienced but imaginative children can create.
If we're lucky, the authors might even provide a few samples for tasting!!! Run, don't walk!
Karen Tack, a Riverside, CT, resident, is a cooking teacher and food stylist, dubbed "The Cake Whisperer" by Gourmet magazine. She appeared on the Martha Stewart show in April 2008 to show how easy it is to make some of her creations. Writer/photographer Alan Richardson is co-author of "The Breath of a Wok," which has won two awards from the International Association of Culinary Professionals.
