Journey to Africa
Saturday, June 27, 2009
Start getting the kids into educational topics now that it's nearly time for the sun, surf and swim to end.
Get the kids together to learn more about the mystique that is Africa at the Stepping Stones Museum.
From Monday, August 24 – Friday, August 28 from 11:30 am & 2:30 pm daily, your kids can learn more about some of the different African countries through hands-on art projects and activities.
There is a $3 materials fee and each day will feature a different project.
Each month a different destination will be featured with performances and activities highlighting the traditions and characteristics of each destination.
Children will receive their very own Stepping Stones passport and have it stamped each time they come to the museum for an event featuring that location. In August, the museum will travel to Africa.
