SuzySaid - Darien, CT Edition

In an effort to embrace shopping local this holiday season the public is invited to participate in this clever scavenger hunt as part of "Shop Darien for the Holidays".

The Darien Chamber of Commerce is organizing the Darien Holiday Hunt from Sunday November 29th to Saturday December 5th.  To participate, the public is invited to Look for the Elf.
Make it a family affair, the kids will love it!

Here's the scoop:

1. Get an entry form
   
2. Visit ten of the stores listed
   
3. Write down the "clue" the elf gives at each business
   
4. Put completed form into the box for a chance to win one of 3-4 raffle gift baskets.
   

Entry forms can be downloaded from www.DarienChamberOnline.com websites.

Take the entry form to at least ten of the participating businesses; look for the Red Elf on the Holiday Hunt sign, then write the underlined clue into a box on the entry form.  
Participants need to visit ten different businesses to get ten different "clues".  
Completed Holiday Hunt forms must be submitted by December 8th to:  Darien Times (3rd floor at 10 Corbin Dr.) or Darien Rowayton Bank Lobby.  Some businesses might also have a coupon or small gift to show customer appreciation.
