New Canaan Holiday Stroll

Kick off the weekend with the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce 5th Annual Holiday Stroll.
Friday, December 4th, 5:30PM – 8PM
Saturday, December 5th, 10AM – 4PM
As is the tradition of this highly anticipated kick-off to the holiday season throughout town, Friday evening will feature the 6PM arrival of Santa Claus, who will light the trees lining New Canaan's shopping district. Late night shopping will ensue, as well as complementary refreshments and live entertainment.
On Saturday, Christine Simmons of Christine Simmons Portraiture will be taking photographs with Santa (proceeds benefit charitable projects of the Young Women's League of New Canaan).
Musical entertainment will be presented by Saxophonist Chris Coulter and by the Norwalk Symphony Brass Ensemble.
The New Canaan Dance Academy will perform, and a cast of costumed characters, including Santa's Elf, Reindeer and a Toy Soldier on Stilts, will stroll along the streets with shoppers on both days.
Also planned again this year is a Gingerbread House Tour, sponsored by M Milestones.
Admission to all events is free.
