Things That Make You Say ICK!

On Saturday, July 26th, celebrate all things slimy, icky and yucky at the New Canaan Nature Center's Ick Festival.
The afternoon consists of activities and workshops focusing on icky critters and science activities. This year will feature the ever popular and extra icky "Snake Pit," a chance to meet real snakes up close and personal, as well as Dr. Yuck's Slime Station which will give participants a chance to make some icky, slimy goo to take home. Other workshops will feature "Pukey Papermaking," a chance to make recycled paper and meet one of the center's ickiest animals, the Turkey Vulture. There will also be lots of self-guided crafts and activities, including an Icky Doughs & Slimes play table and an Icky Scavenger Hunt.
At 3 PM, join Camp Director Miss Lisa for a special Icky Song Circle at 3:00 p.m.
