Calling All Triathletes

All you tri-athletes and wanna be's out there, here's your chance to do something good for yourself and local kids. This local triathlon isn't until June, that gives you plenty of training time!
The Stamford KIC IT Triathlon benefits Kids in Crisis, Connecticut's only free, round-the-clock crisis counseling center and emergency shelter for children ages newborn to 17. Launched in 1978, Kids in Crisis has helped more than 100,000 families and children dealing with abuse, neglect, homelessness, mental health issues or extreme family conflict.
The Stamford KIC It Triathlon welcomes individual athletes and relay teams. You can gather a group of friends, family, neighbors and/or co-workers to each tackle a leg of the race. It's a great way to get involved, get in shape and acquire some bragging rights!
When: Sunday, June 27, 2010
When: Athlete check in begins at 5:30 AM, start time is 6:30 AM
Where: The swim begins and ends at Cummings Beach Park
