A FRESH Film
Lights! Camera! Food! Join the Greenwich Audubon for a food film festival. On Saturday, February 27th from 2-4:30, moviegoers are invited to a special screening of the film FRESH followed b a panel discussion with members of local/sustainable food movement along with a sampling of organic wine and cheeses.

FRESH, a widely-acclaimed production of documentary filmmaker Ana Sofia Joanes offers "new thinking about what we're eating" at a time when the potentially lethal consequences of our industrialized food system have become standard items in our daily news diet.

FRESH celebrates the farmers, thinkers and business people across America who are re-inventing our food system. Among several main characters, FRESH features urban farmer and activist, Will Allen, a 2008 MacArthur's "Genius Award" fellow; sustainable farmer and entrepreneur, Joel Salatin, made famous by Michael Pollan's book, The Omnivore's Dilemma; and supermarket owner, David Ball, who is creating a new market model for our family farmers.
