The Community Film Institute is rolling out the red carpet for its latest film series event limited to members only.

Filmmaker and actor Edward Burns will be appearing at the Community Film Institute on Friday, November 12 for the premiere of  “Nice Guy Johnny”, which was written and directed by Mr. Burns.  He will be participating in a question and answer session following the screening.

About Ed Burns
Edward Burns is one of the most prolific and versatile storytellers in the film industry today. He has been consistently writing, directing, producing and acting in critically acclaimed films for the last 15 years.

In 1995, he broke through with The Brothers McMullen which earned him several award nominations for his writing and directing. Over the years, he has starred in countless films which include Saving Private Ryan, 27 Dresses, 15 Minutes, Sidewalks of New York, Life or Something Like It as well as memorable television performances in Entourage and Will & Grace. Most importantly, Burns has followed his heart and has always focused his efforts on writing, directing, producing and acting in films that tell compelling stories that mean something to him.
