It's An Owl Moon Night Hike
Monday, January 21, 2013

Let the light of this weekend's full moon be your guide as you explore magic in the woods and unravel the myriad mysteries of our nocturnal neighbors – the owls. Owl Moon is what the New Canaan Nature Center calls the full moon nearest start of the mating season for Great Horned Owls. This program will include an interactive night hike and live owl presentation. Enjoy a warm cup of cocoa after the outdoor walk.
Saturday, January 26 from 6:30 - 8 PM
Come dressed for the cold night weather & able to be outdoors for at least 1 hour. Please no flashlights (they lessen the impact of the night-time experience). For safety, staff will have emergency lights. Spaces are limited and advanced registration required so register early! Registration deadline is January 24th
