As part of Stamford Hospital's Paint the Town Pink campaign, the Darien Sport Shop will a host "The Power of Pink, A Breakfast Parade of Styles"
Ten percent of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Stamford Hospital's Mobile Mammography Program, which provides approximately 1,000 mammograms for uninsured and under-insured women each year. The event is free and guests will enjoy morning coffee with friends, fun, and fashions as the latest fall styles are showcased.
Wednesday, October 8th, 2008 10AM - 12Noon
There will be informal modeling by local personalities as well as free refreshments and chances to win valuable door prizes. Robeks Juice has even created a special pink smoothie (Pink Pomegranate Passion) that will be sampled during the event and Darien's jewelry designer, Heather Smith, will be on hand with a trunk show of her favorite styles including a special breast cancer awareness necklace where 50% of her proceeds will go towards the cause. Attendees will receive a special one-day shopping pass upon arrival for additional savings while they shop for a cause.
