Honey Harvest at the Nature Center

If you participated in the hive checks this summer, you know that there's lots of honey to harvest at the New Canaan Nature Center.
1st Annual Honey Harvest

Watch the NCNC naturalists collect the honey-filled frames from the hive and try their hand at honey extraction and bottling. They'll get started at noon and expect the process to take a couple of hours.
Feel free to join at any time!
Get as hands on or close up as you like.
This is a FREE program.
For a $5 donation you can take a small sample jar of honey* with you at the end of the day.
*As it's tough to determine how much honey they'll be able to collect, the number of samples is limited.
