A Panel Discussion: Gaming, the good, the bad and the ugly.
Monday, February 28, 2011

We all have questions about the video games our children are playing, why not get them answered.
The YWCA Parents Awareness and Darien Library have gathered experts to answer your questions in an open discussion.
This discussion will investigate the positive and negative impacts of video gaming, to help parents ensure that their children are practicing healthy habits.
Panelists include Luke Forshaw, Assistant Principal at Ox Ridge Elementary School, who will present current research on how video games challenge kids to learn, as well as ways to help control children's online gaming experiences, and Edward Moran, Clinical Social Worker at Family Centers, Inc., who will provide guidance on setting expectations and managing children's gaming behaviors to fit family values.
This FREE program is on Wednesday, March 2nd at 7PM.
