A Halloween Prowl
Sunday, October 05, 2008

The popular annual event - The Halloween Owl Prowl & Campfire at the New Canaan Nature Center returns this Friday night. Join Director of Youth and Family Programs Lisa Monachelli and one of the naturalist on staff for a great natural way to prepare for Halloween. You'll meet two live owls and learn how to recognize owl calls, then head out into the field to see if they can get one of their local Great Horned or Screech owls to call in. The evening will end with a campfire (weather permitting) and a chance to roast S'mores for an evening sweet treat.
