All Aboard!
The Solar Express embarked on its inaugural journey last week at Stepping Stones Museum for Children. It's the newest year-round feature for visitors of Stepping Stones Museum for Children. A fun addition to the museum’s offerings, the train builds upon the museum’s commitment to energy conservation education and environmental responsibility. While out on the train route, “conductors” will highlight the museum’s environmental initiatives.
Weather permitting, the Solar Express will run several times daily, bringing passengers on a unique 7 to 10 minute guided tour through historic Mathews Park.
Tickets are $1 per ride for members and $3 per ride for non-members.
Monthly passes are available.
Museum visitors can purchase tickets at the Welcome Desk.
Children under three must ride with a parent.
