This December, the Stamford Museum & Nature Center is decked out in holiday cheer and they invite you to take a holiday from the holidays and come out for a wintry stroll on Heckscher Farm,
Take a wintry stroll on Heckscher Farm at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center on Fridays, Dec. 4, 11, and 18. The Stamford Museum & Nature Center will be free for visitors on Fridays in December, and will have extended hours on their Heckscher Farm until 7PM Take a stroll along the luminary path, enjoy some free hot cocoa and reconnect with your family and friends. At 7PM, stop in the Observatory to see "The Star of Bethlehem" and stay for the 8PM open Observatory hours.
The galleries will also have extended hours to 8PM so you can enjoy the exhibitions, Dolls, Toys & Teddy Bears and Visions of Gingerbread.
The Exchange Club will be selling Christmas trees in the north parking lot. Holidays on Heckscher is free and open to the public.
