Baby Basics Volunteers Needed
Baby Basics, a program founded in 1987, provides and delivers layette items and other new born essentials such as diapers, clothing, blankets, crib sheets, bottles, socks, etc. to new mothers in need at Stamford and Norwalk Hospitals and they need your help!

Baby Basics is a great hands-on volunteer opportunity that can be done on your own time-you can bring a friend or even a child.  As a room manager you will be responsible for putting the layettes together for the new moms and babies.  It feels so great to be able to contribute to something so near and dear to many of our hearts.

The great thing about Baby Basics is that you sign up for a week that works for you schedule and you can volunteer for as much or as little you can.  You decide when you want to work - 1 day for a couple of hours, 2 days for 1 hour or everyday for 1 hour.  It's completely up to you.

With this small time commitment, you can make a big difference in the lives of hundreds of area women and their newborns.

To sign up to volunteer as a Room Manager or for additonal information on Baby Basics, please contact Cristie Veeder () or Kristine Miller () today.
