The YWCA's Annual Spring Benefit, "Speak Easy" Casino Night, will be held this Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 7pm, at the Country Club of Darien.
The highlights of the evening are the silent auction, jazz trio, cocktails, hors d' oeuvres, raw bar, games and of course the casino in a 1920's Speakeasy atmosphere! All proceeds help support and expand the numerous community programs provided by the YWCA Darien/Norwalk, including our Parent Awareness Network, Better Beginnings, New Directions, Funbusters and more.

Here are some INSIDER TIPS for the evening!
Make sure to get to the Spring Benefit nice and early! Each guest will receive gold coins at check-in which can be exchanged for the denomination of choice at the dealer tables. The amount of coins distributed will be on a tier basis. The earlier your arrival at the Benefit, the more coins you get and the top two gamblers at the end of the night with the most coins receive prizes!
The prizes for the winners, called The Al Capones, include 18 holes of golf at The Country Club of Darien for the top performer, two guests and their host with lunch at the "members only" clubhouse. The runner up will receive a free one month membership to Equinox including a one hour personal training session, a 50 minute massage and 20% Discount from their sport shop.
While we are on the topic of coins, are you and your dear husband flipping them to decide who will be the designated driver at the end of the night? Well worry no more! Get dropped off at the Benefit and get a complimentary safe ride home at the end of the night!!! Drivers Unlimited will provide guests with COMPLIMENTARY RIDES HOME starting at 11:00pm!!! Phew!
