Fairfield Christmas Tree Frestival
It's the gift of Fairfield that keeps on giving.  

Did you know that the Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival is a month-long celebration of our town and the good that it can do? Since 1981, the Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival has raised millions of dollars for many well-deserved charitable organizations.  Study the list below and pick an event or two to participate in. You'll be helping those in need in our neighborhoods, and you'll experience the gift of Fairfield this holiday season.

Thursday, December 3
Gala Preview Party 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Friday, December 4
Festival Open to Public 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Designer Decorated rooms, Quilt raffle, Holiday Boutique
Santa's Workshop 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Holiday House Tour 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
House Tour tickets are available all week including Friday a.m. at the Burr Mansion for $40. The tour features five amazing homes. Four of them are in the beach area and one is in Winton Park.
Children's Event 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, December 5
Festival Open to Public 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Santa's Workshop 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Victorian Tea 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Sunday, December 6
Festival Open to Public 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Santa's Workshop 10:00 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Family Movie Matinee 2:30 p.m. caroling, 3:00 p.m. movie at the Fairfield Community Theater
Caroling in front of the Community Theatre at 2:30 with the movie "The Grinch  Who Stole Christmas" (Jim Carrey version) at 3 p.m.)  Movie tickets are available at the door for $10 per person and include cookies and cocoa during caroling plus free popcorn and soda for the movie. Proceeds benefit both Operation Hope and the Fairfield Community Theatre Foundation. You can also note that half of the proceeds from EVERY movie shown next weekend will go to Operation Hope.

House Tour  $40 tickets available at Operation Hope in advance
($50 day of at the Burr Homestead)
Victorian Tea** $30
Family Movie Matinee $10 per person

The Recipient for the 2009 Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival is Operation Hope, a non-for-profit organization serving the hungry, homeless and at risk in Fairfieldand the surrounding communities through innovative services designed to help people reach their potential in an environment where compassion inspires dignity and hope.
