Do You Know a Woman of Distinction?

We all know her. That one pal that inspires us not with who she is, but with what she does.
A Woman of Distinction is someone who has made a significant contribution to the community of Darien or Norwalk and is described as a leader, role model, change agent, creative thinker and inspiration to others. She has demonstrated exceptional skills in breaking new ground or old barriers and made a difference in her workplace, school or nonprofit.
In addition, a Young Woman of Distinction is a woman under 21 years of age who lives in Darien or Norwalk and has made a significant contribution to her school or community.
The YWCA Darien/Norwalk is taking nominations for women fitting this description to honor at our Women of Distinction luncheon and awards ceremony on June 10th, 2010.
