Team Brent's annual super-sized St. Baldrick's Event is this Saturday. Because the event has grown so much over the years, it's being held at the Arena at Harbor Yard.
Stop by on Saturday March 6th from 12:30-5 PM at the Arena at Harbor Yard. You can participate in the cause and be a shavee or just watch just watch and cheer them on.
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged but not required. Shavees can register at the event. If you preregister, you'll receive a free ticket to the March 6 Sound Tigers hockey game where you'll be brought onto the ice and honored. Friends and family may purchase additional tickets at the discounted group rate.

12:30 PM Doors open
1:00 PM Opening Ceremonies, emceed by Deb Kaufman Placey
2-5:00 PM Registration, Head Shaving & Family Fun including:
• Head shaving by the Total Look Salons & Academy
• Open skate on the Bridgeport Sound Tigers ice! Must bring your own skates
• Head painting for shavees provided by Once Upon a Face Paint & Face Painting by Wells
• Activities provided by The Little Gym of Fairfield, United Athletic Centers, Mickey Kydes Soccer & Educational Warehouse
• Rock out to the band Vertigo
Today, because of TeamBrent and their extraordinary fundraising, Doctors are researching new ways to fight childhood cancer. Suzy's can't think of a better cause!
About St. Baldrick's
The St. Baldrick's Foundation raises awareness and funds to fight childhood cancer. While battling cancer, children lose not only their hair but years of their childhood, and sometimes their lives. Participants in a St. Baldrick's event shave their heads in exchange for donations towards research. It's a simple concept, a fun time and a very effective fundraiser - since its founding in 2000, the St. Baldrick's Foundation has raised over $ 69 million by shaving over 106,000 heads in 24 countries.
