Give Thanks

OPUS for Person-to-Person invites everyone to join in “We Give Thanks” this November. This unique opportunity will help make a difference in the lives of those in need. People are encouraged to host dinner parties in their homes and in lieu of guests bringing food or hostess gifts, they make a donation to Person-to-Person at the end of the evening.
All funds raised as part of “We Give Thanks” will go directly to help low-income families and individuals from surrounding communities pay for rent, oil bills and other basic essentials this coming winter.
Event sponsor, Palmer’s Market in Darien, will provide menu ideas, catered dinner options and floral services to hosts. As an added incentive, Palmer’s will offer a discount for all catering and floral services purchased for the “We Give Thanks” dinners.
