It looks like Sunday is going to be a gorgeous fall day. Bring your dinner, favorite beverage and friends to Jazz For the Sound benefitting SoundWaters. Enjoy musical performances at the Boat Shed in Stamford 's Brewer Yacht Haven Marina on Sunday, Oct. 5 from 3 – 7 p.m. The line-up of performers include: pianist and the evening's emcee, Joyce DiCamillo; jazz-gospel by Brooklyn's Devoe Street Baptist Church choir with soloists Jody Sanhaus, Afua Monk-Addo and the Pete Malinverni Trio; bebop, ballads, standards and humor with Nicole Pasternak and Joan Crow; and doo-wop with The Royal Kings and Cookie Thomas. Tickets aret $50 per person with proceeds benefitting SoundWaters, the leading environmental educational organization on Long Island Sound.
