It’s time for spring cleaning!
Go green, reduce and recycle items to support Darien Boy Scouts.
Preparation is underway for the 39th Annual Darien Boy Scouts Tag Sale scheduled for Sunday May 1st 2011.,
The sale will run from 8:30 AM to 4 PM at the Scout Cabin.
The sale provides funds to operate the Andrew Shaw Memorial Scout Cabin and subsidize scouting programs in Darien.
Local pick-ups for items too large to fit in your car will take place on April 23rd from 9 AM-1 PM.

The cabin will also be open for donation drop-offs:
April 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd from 9 AM to 1 PM.
They are looking for: Furniture, lawn furniture, lawnmowers, lawn and garden tools, sporting goods, electronics, stereos, computers (Pentium IIIs & newer), TVs (less than 8 years old), housewares, dishes & decorative items, pictures, collectibles, lamps & linens, knick knacks & jewelry, books, games and toys, bikes, trikes & scooters and holiday items. If you would like to donate a small boat, call 917-887-9068. Unfortunately they cannot accept car seats, pianos, clothing, mattresses, sofa beds, typewriters, exercise equipment, skis, or building materials such as sinks, windows and doors.
All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.
