Center for HOPE Luncheon with Lee Woodruff
Lee Woodruff knows all about the unexpected twists and turns one encounters along the road of life.

Without a moment’s notice, her life was turned upside down when her husband, former ABC World News Tonight anchor Bob Woodruff, was seriously injured by a roadside bomb during a broadcast in Iraq.

Woodruff will discuss how she found the strength to hold her family together during this trying time at the 2011 Center for HOPE Annual Luncheon. The event will be held on Monday, June 6th at 11 AM at the Country Club of Darien.

She documented her family’s amazing journey in the New York Times bestseller In an Instant: A Family’s Journey of Love and Healing, a memoir she co-wrote with Bob. In 2009, Woodruff released her second book entitled, Perfectly Imperfect.

All proceeds will benefit bereavement and critical illness support services offered through the Center for HOPE and The Den for Grieving Kids.
