Two More Local Farmer's Markets Open This Week
Monday, June 04, 2012

The 2012 season kicks off at both the Rowayton Farmers Market and the Stamford Museum and Nature Center Farmers Market this coming Friday!
The Rowayton Farmers Market was named one of the 10 best farmers' markets in the country in Country Living's February feature. This season will feature the return of the market's favorite farmers, producers and artisans and will introduce a dozen new exciting vendors offering everything from lobster rolls, local clams, dried and prepared pastas, brick oven pizza, farm dairy, pasties, pot pies and empanadas, design your own cupcakes, kettle popcorn, fresh organic lemonade, natural skin care, and handmade gifts with local themes.
The Stamford Museum and Nature Center Farmers Market has moved the Farm Market location to their beautiful Meadow. They've also added some new exciting vendors to offer a larger variety of items including a wood burning pizza truck so you can hang around and have lunch at one of the picnic tables by the Bendel Pond.
Both Markets begin on Friday!
