Driftwood Diner Reopens
Friday, October 10, 2008

Looking for an old fashioned diner in Darien? Check out the NEW Post Road Diner at Driftwood.
Under new ownership, it reopened about 1 month ago.
It's extremely kid-friendly -- plenty of highchairs, kid menu for those under 12, and stickers on the way out! -- plus it's sparkling new and clean with a nice staff and fun menu.
Yummy breakfast items include coconut-crusted French toast, peanut butter chocolate chip pancakes and the standard silver dollars and eggs. Lunch and dinner items include sandwiches, burgers, salads (good selection), pasta, seafood and even steak and much more. To top it off, there's a great shake and malt selection.
