The John Patrick Flanagan Foundation (JPFF) is a local nonprofit established in loving memory of lifelong Fairfield resident, John Patrick Flanagan. John passed away from cancer at age 44 in December 2008 and his family, friends and colleagues established the Foundation to serve as a charitable legacy to support what he cherished most: children and family. Since its inception in 2009, JPFF has helped children and families by supporting organizations such as the Bridgeport Hospital Foundation, Bridgeport Youth Lacrosse, Connecticut Lawyers for Children, Connecticut Audubon Society, the Evergreen Network, High School Scholarship Foundation of Fairfield, Fairfield Preparatory School Scholarship Foundation, Wakeman Boys & Girls Club.
