Pequot Library 4th of July Parade

Is there anything better than good old fashioned fun for the Fourth of July? Let the kids break out the streamers and decorate their bikes for the Pequot Library Fourth of July bike parade. The parade starts at 10 AM sharp at the center of Southport Village and works its way through town along Pequot Avenue to the Library.
Join hundreds of children on their decorated bikes, scooters, strollers, even skateboards with a police motocycle escort showing off their patriotic spirit.
Once they arrive at the Library's Great Lawn, there will be games and activities for kids and adults alike.
When: 10 - 11:30 AM on Saturday, July 4th
Where: Downtown Southport and the Pequot Library
This is a free family event for all ages and will be held rain or shine.
