Relay for Life Fundraiser

The efforts around town to raise money for the upcoming Relay for Life continues. One clever team, The Lake Ladies and Beyond (Linda Piliero (captain), Charlene Sastre, Flo O'Brien, Sue Connely, Louise Cahill, Carol Callahan, Suzanne Butzko, Kelly Maffei and Joanne LaVista,) are collecting new (or very new looking) items for a flea market sale. Donations can be dropped off ANYTIME at 135 Sasapequan Road. It is an easy way to put to good use those gifts, impulsive purchases or unused items. Receipts are available for your tax deductible donations. The flea market will be held at Fairfield Warde High School on Sunday, May 20th. These lovely ladies will be selling their donated household items, clothes, small pieces of furniture, jewelry, accessories, spa products, and other lovely goodies to make money for their Relay for Life team!
Many of the moms double as Chaperones for their teen's team. It is a great event for teens and parents to bond while staying up all night and participate in "giving back" for a terrific cause.
