Gifted and Talented

Are you trying to navigate the resources available to your gifted child?  Jeff Danielian, the Teacher Resource Specialist with the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) and Katie Augustyn, President of the CT Association for the Gifted (CAG), will address a parent forum on meeting the needs of gifted children and accessing resources available to parents, teachers and administrators through the NAGC, CAG and other organizations. Jeff and Katie will discuss the NAGC's new "Mile Marker Series" CD-ROM, which Fairfield PTA Council's Gifted & Talented Services Committee recently purchased for the libraries of each of Fairfield's public elementary schools. Five Mile Markers represent different stages of nurturing gifted children and within each Mile Marker there are sections full of resources and links as well as other support available through the NAGC.  No RSVP necessary.
