If you have a child entering kindergarten this fall, consider signing them up for Safety Town. It's a don't-miss camp for any child entering elementary school. Safety Town fills up quickly so send in the form below asap.
Safety Town is a ten-hour program where children are taught safe road, traffic and crossing practices. Half of the program is done in the classroom with videos, discussions, songs and games along with talks given by a police officer, crossing guard and bus driver. The other class is hands on with the kids demonstrating what they've learned in an actual town with buildings, roads, cross walks and traffic lights.
