April Break Activities
It's Spring Break next week. If you're staying close to home, don't worry, there's no shortage of activities to keep the kids busy.

Beardsley Zoo April Adventures
Children ages 6-11 can take part in animal encounters and special craft activities each day from 9:00am-12:30pm.  This program features Zookeeper talks, behind-the-scenes tours, animal encounters, crafts, games, and other activities.  Come for the entire week or just for a day.  The cost of the program is $35 per day or $150 for the week.  For Zoo members, cost is $30 per day or $125 per week.  Call 203-394-6563 to register.

April Vacation Family Show, T-Bone

Spring School Vacation Week at Fairfield Audubon
Let your kids become Nature Detectives at the Fairfield Audubon.  Sessions offered April 13-16 (Tues.-Fri.), 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Optional "Lunch Bunch" 12:30-2 p.m. daily. For children in Pre-K (ages 3-5, must be toilet-trained and able to attend without an adult), Grades K-2 and Grades 3-5. Learn the clues that animals leave behind, investigate plants that are first to flower, and detect the difference between animal sounds. Activities include stories, games, crafts, experiments and live animal presentations, and each day includes an outdoor exploration. Pre-registration required. Fee: $112 CAS Members, $167 Non-members. "Lunch Bunch": you provide lunch for your child and they spend the afternoon with us. Daily fee: $8/child CAS Members, $12/child Non-members.

April Vacation Adventure Programs at the Maritime Aquarium
Every vacation day is an adventure with hands-on activities and close encounters with animals at The Maritime Aquarium. Each day is different. Choose one or more days. Sign-up for all five and save $40. Children are grouped by age for appropriate crafts and experiments. Specific animal encounters and visits to certain Aquarium exhibits depend upon the daily theme. For ages 6 - 9, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
